I'm even tempted to order another color.I will be returning these. Those zip offs should not be that tight. I returned them.great pants--but the waist is tiny and without any stretchThe fabric and cut of the pants are great for hiking--but the waist is absurdly small and stiff. That size was a bit loose in the waist however I thought it would be OK. The pant legs fold up for walks on the beach and our hot Houston days. I have bigger hips and thighs but small waist, so I had to order a size down to fit my waist property. Enjoy the versatility that I can roll them up and the snap in place.
Not a huge fan of the snap closure.I'm new to full-length hiking pants since I prefer to hike in warmer weather, but an upcoming trip pushed me to search. I ordered these pants in size 4, expecting them to be loose in the waist like the other Columbia pants I own. I could button them but wouldn’t be comfortable hiking in them. No good for canoe trips.I love these pants. They seem to fit different than the knee pants in the overall fit and feel area. However theses are great, they are a little loose on the waist so I do wear a belt other than that they fit every where well. I have several pairs - different colors. Not a usual color for me, but I like it very much. Waists in stretch pants need to be a stretch material! I wanted them for my packbacking trip through Europe this summer. I kayak fish and I really don’t like wearing shorts out all day. The pants do fit slimmer in the thighs, and if you have larger thighs and rear, order a size up (I typically fit in a 6/7, and the 8 gives me some extra room so they’re not fitting “legging style”, and I can bend and sit comfortably). Very happy with my purchase!This is the 5th pair of these pants I’ve gotten. Probably a good 2 inches shy of buttoning. So I ordered Grill and Black in the 2 Short. Fits perfectly! Sorry, that combination is out of stock. The stretch is good. Why? They are a great pair of pants for spring or summer weather. They were starting to pill and did eventually shrink a tad. I can't wait to need the next size down!So disappointed in these pants. Hopefully they will work a little better.Bought these for my wife, fit is great, she loves them so much, I'm getting a pair for myself.Just like other reviews this pant does run small I’m usually at two and ordered a four and they fit perfect. I’m ordering another pair the next size up. The weekend after I received them I took them out for a ten mile moderate hike. They are perfect for that in between weather when it starts off a bit chilly but then gets warmer. However using new measurements and the size guide I ordered a 10 (39” at widest on hip and 28” waist) and these pants barely button and squish me out everywhere. Due to the tight waist band and me needing to dry them to kill any ticks that may have escaped my post hike inspection, I may have to size up again, a 12! Your apparel must be in original and unworn condition, with tags still attached. I could barely button them.

My sister wears a 4 or 6, and the 10 worked for her while hiking.I read so many reviews with conflicting size information I figured I'd put in my info. The color is great and the price is reasonable, Highly recommend!These pants are super comfortable and I love the light lichen color I purchased. They fit fine.
