This is an outstanding book on many levels. However, from my readers perspective as to the book I would have preferred to read, it did not reach that level. It has helped me to grow in my faith and understanding as I study the person and work of Jesus. I appreciate how Meacham, one of my favorite writers and historians, brings to light his own spiritual and religious grounding.
