It says; “Verily we have sent it (The Qur’an) down in the night of Al-Qad’r (The Decree)… The night of Decree is better than a thousand months. Yet it is revealed to Allah Almighty’s servants and friends as and when He Almighty chooses and wills. The pious have observed Laylatul Bara’ah throughout the Muslim world since the time of the Noble Prophet ﷺ. Allah Aswajal Bless Your Beautiful Soul Sidi Ihsan.May Allah grant you Jannat firdous, I’m learning a lot from you,Thank you so much brother Ihsan for bringing our awareness to these auspicious dates throughout the year. Allah says in Quran in surah isra, that he took his Prophet from masjid haram to masjid aqsa then to 7 skies then heaven and hell. Doing firework on any occasion is prohibited in Islam. In that month deeds are presented to the Lord of the Worlds, so I like my deeds to be presented while I am fasting”.
It really supports me as I work to learn and practice more of the beautiful Islamic spirituality of our deen. Thank you Ihsan! “Rasulullah Sallallahu `Alayhi Wa Sallam would fast excessively in this month; more than in other months”. You can watch this video of Maulana Tariq Jameel in which he explains the significance of Shab-e-barat (in Urdu language). I’m confused.Jazakallahu Khair, for all your reminders. One of the unique benefits of traditional Islamic spirituality is the observance of numerous holy days and nights throughout the Islamic calendar year in which spiritual seekers can take advantage of rare blessings and opportunities for spiritual growth and awakening. One of the holiest and most significant nights of the Islamic calendar is the night of the 15th of Shaban, also known as Shabe Barat. What is Shab e Baraat that is celebrated by many South Asian Muslims? Thank you so much!May Allah (swt) Bless you and family and all, Endlessly! I have never studied Islam. This sinful activity is a serious risk to one’s own life, wealth and assets. That is indeed sufficient for the people. Do’s and Dont’s of Shab e Barat: 1) 15th Night of Shaban or Shab e Barat, as it is known, is one of the blessed nights in the Islamic calender. Set 2 1) Last night of mid Sha’ban is known as Shab-e-Barat which falls on the 15 th day of 8 th month which means Shaban as per the Islamic lunar calendar. 2. Every worship is only for Allah (S.W.T) and to seek His pleasure. God revealed to His messenger, “Shall I disclose for you a thing stranger than this?” “Surely!” Jesus answered. The stone split and from it emerged an old man with a green walking stick in his hand, and pointing to a grape vine he said, “I get my sustenance from here.” Jesus (A) asked him, “How long have you been busy worshipping God in this stone?” The man replied, “For four hundred years.” Jesus (A) said to God, “I think there is no one else that can worship as he does.” God revealed, “Two cycles (raka’) of prayer by one from the nation of My Beloved Prophet (S) on the 15th night of the month of Shaban are better than this four hundred years of worship.”djazaka allahu khayran ihsan for sharing.please make du3a for me that i get more spiritual .Thank you Ihsan for this information and gentle reminder.
There is no authentic Hadith about keeping fast explicitly and exclusively on the 15th day of Shaban. I benefit a lot from your videos. Yet we are of the people who seek to draw nearer to our Lord and Creator through piety, spirituality, worship, meditation and contemplation. Some Muslims celebrate the middle of Sha‘baan, fasting on that day and spending that night in prayer (qiyaam). Islam is the religion of peace.
The Qur’an in clear words ascribe this pre-eminence of Shab-e-Qad’r or Lailat-al-Qad’r. So 15th Shaban cannot be singled out for fasting. May Allah Bless and Protect everyone and grant goodness to all. Welcome Shabe Barat.
